Q:What are laminate floors and how are they made?
A:Laminate flooring is versatile, durable, attractive flooring with the appearance of a hardwood floor. Although laminate flooring looks like wood flooring, there is actually no solid wood used in its construction. Laminate floors are made up of several materials bonded together under high pressure. Most laminate flooring consists of a moisture resistant layer under a layer of HDF (high density fiberboard). This is topped with a high resolution photographic image of natural wood flooring. It is then finished with an extremely hard, clear coating made from special resin-coated cellulose to protect the laminate flooring. Laminate flooring is perfect for anyone wanting a durable floor for a fraction of the price and installation time of a hardwood floor, but with the attractiveness of real hardwood. This construction also makes laminate flooring more environment-friendly as it uses less wood in its construction and makes more efficient use of the wood fiber that is used.
Q:What are the advantages of laminate flooring compared with other kind of floorings?
A: Advantages of Laminate Flooring:
(1) Beautiful looking;
(2) Fashionable, popularly in the world market;
(3) Easy to install and maintain;
(4) Enviroment-friendly procecing;
(5) Save the hardwood, save the forest;
(6) Click without patent problem;
(7) Prompt Delivery;
(8) Competitive price;
(9) Better service;
(10) Various color surface is available;
(11) Will not fade in sunlight;
(12) Stain resistant, even stubborn stains such as red wine, oil, jam, nail polish can be removed easily;
(13) Resistant to cigarette burns;
(14)Resistant to scratches, our flooring is particularly scratch resistant, so that even pets paw does not leave any marks.
Q:What is wpc(wood plastic composite) and how are they made?
A:Wood plastic composite lumber is composed of wood from recovered saw dust (and other cellulose-based fiber fillers such as pulp fibers, peanut hulls, bamboo, straw, digestate, etc.) and virgin or waste plastics including HDPE, PVC, PP, ABS, PS, and PLA. The powder or fibers are mixed to a dough-like consistency and then extruded or moulded to the desired shape. Additives such as colorants, coupling agents, stabilizers, blowing agents, reinforcing agents, foaming agents, lubricants help tailor the end product to the target area of application. The material is formed into both solid and hollow profiles or into injection moulded parts and products.
Wood, resin, regrind, and most of the additives are combined and processed in a pelletizing extruder. The new material pellets are formed in mold and dried. Pre-distribution testing can help determine the optimal combination of chemical agents, design, agitation and other flow aid strategies for the specific material in use.
Material description:
35% environmental plastic materials(Grade A Recycled HDPE and new PP)
55% natural fiber (wood powder, bamboo powder, etc)
10% chemical additives. (Anti-UV agent, Anti-oxidation agent, stabilizers, colorants, anti fungus agent, coupling agent, reinforcing agent, lubricants.)
Q:What are the applications of WPC?
A:Applications:
Outdoor landscaping and environment layout, used for outdoor decking floor, railing, fence, bridge, dock, gloriette, gazebo, pavillion, boradwalk and other
Q:What are the advantages of WPC?
A:1. High recyclable, eco-friendly, saving forest resources
2. with the look of the natural wood but less timber problems
3. Moisture/Water resistant, less rotten, proven under salt water condition
4. Barefoot friendly, anti-slip, less cracking, less warping,
5. Requires no painting, no glue, low maintenance
6. Weather resistant, suitable from minus - 40 to 60 centigrade degree
7. Well done of Termites, insects, and moldy-proof
8. Available in different colors
9. Easy to install and Carpenter oriented
WPC compared to pure wood decking, is becoming the choice for most homes in developed countries these days. While costing more upfront, the former requires lower maintenance costs and is more durable. More importantly, wood-plastic composite (WPC) is the wisest option if you want to help in environmental issues such as deforestation and recycling.
WPCs are usually made up of recycled plastic and wood wastes. They have the ability to be molded into spatial requirements specified by users. They also do not need to be painted or stained, unlike hard wood, which has to be sealed and stained regularly. This is one of the reasons why, over time, WPCs need less maintenance. If you are concerned about design and colors, though, these materials come in a variety of shades to match the area of your home or building where you need to use them.
But the most significant advantage of having composite decking of plastic and wood is environmental. WPCs are composed of about 40-50% recycled plastics and 50-60% recycled wood chips or fibers. This helps reduce the amount of wood and plastic wastes in landfills worldwide.
Also, to make a whole deck area solely made of wood, you need to cut down, perhaps, a whole tree. Using WPCs decreases the demand for wood and the need to cut down trees and, thus, helps stop the destruction of natural habitats across the globe.
Less air pollution is promoted by WPC, too. Unlike treated wood, they do not contain copper, chromium, arsenic and other such toxins. You do not need to stain or seal them even after a long period of use, so you avoid ingesting harmful fumes that linger in your area when treating wood.
WPCs do not only use materials that are recycled, but are also recyclable. Their products can be later reproduced as similar materials for other outdoor areas. Indeed, some even call this "green" decking.
WPCs usually have low moisture absorption and a high resistance to rotting, insect and damage by UV rays. Their low maintenance requirement and expenses truly make them the preferred materials by many people these days compared to traditional wood. Because it is splinter-free and resistant to warping, it makes them even more popular. Undoubtedly, they do help save the environment as they use nearly 100% recycled and recyclable materials. So, the next time you look for decking materials, try to consider WPC.
